Just saw it, excellent they now provide a 4 Gb card, but I am a bit confused to see both In Stock

They want 163 GBP = 320$ USD to ship 4GB D2 to the USA! I am going to get a 2GB from the Iaudio store on Ebay.

Is this accurate pricing? I doubt it; they want 153 for the 2GB version. Will the USD price for the 4GB cost between 200-250?

It wouldn't make sense for them to sell the 4gb version for more than 250US here in america, since other players like their A2 is roughly 300, and with a lot more capacity, albeit in a slightly different class because it's not flash memory....I hope they sell it for 240 or maybe even 230 =D. ....but I doubt that they will :X

Yeah I think with a possible SDHC upgrade in the future the 2GB is going to be fine for now. I want to hear some music...so I'm ordering one now.

You can't compare europe prices with that from the U.S. They have a much higher VAT and you're dealing with a seller.

If you check www.jetmall.net the average price difference in other 2gb and 4gb mp3 players is around $40-$50. So I would guess the D2 4gb will cost $239. Anything more than that is absurd.

Well I am feeling rather absurd. I thought that the prices were in Euros not GBP. So I order when thinking it was 153 Euro which is about 220$ I was psyched until I realized I f'd up. I figure with a free 4gb SD card and minus the hassle of canceling the already charged order...I can rationalize this mistake & the extra cost. Besides I am sick of staring at the Iaudio store waiting for the 4GB....as for US prices I would agree that anything over 240$ wouln't make sense.

haha "sick of staring at the Iaudio store waiting for the 4GB..." yeah I'm getting sick of it too, but since I have my ipod nano to keep me going for a while I'm not *that* vexed by it....but it still bugs me. Don't you guys hate that feeling? ....even worse when you don't have a set release date. Someone mentioned here before that it would be at the beginning of Feb. and others have been saying end of Feb....

Just got an alert from them that they have the 4gb in stock, and it's coming with a free 4Gb SD card too. Bit annoying as If I had known I would have held off buying the 2 Gb I received yesterday - £30 for 4Gb is quite a good deal!

Wow, your're lucky. A 4GB SD for free.
We'll have to pay € 249,- 4GB and € 208,- but none free SD.
(And maybe radio inactif like the Meizu M6.)
Damn, why do we have to pay such high prices[cursing]
On the other hand, UK prices are incredibly high.

Yeah, and as I mentioned in another thread they actually sent me a Sandisk Ultra card, not a generic one. Not sure if that would apply to the 4Gb too though,

woot, do you guys think some of the older orders (i.e. with the 2gb free sd promotion) will ship with the 4gb SD card? as i ordered this product only a few days ago, when it stated a free 2Gb Sd card?

Me thinks amp3p got it wrong and shipments will only arrive on the 18th, hay i hope they are right though.

[edit] wow they do have them in stock! the shipment date has been removed. yay.

Dam i doubt they will be able to deliver by firday :(

just to let you guys know, yes they have stock and yes all orders for the D2 4Gb will ship with a free 4GB sd card. All preorders etc where shipped friday and thus should arrive monday or later depending on your delivery situation.

Got my D2 from advancedmp3players today. I ordered it with the free 2Gb card and they sent me the 4Gb card.

Well chuffed.

Received my 4GB this morning.

Happy with it so far. It's on firmware 2.21.

Anyone know if I can disable USB charging? I don't want it charging every time I plug the USB cable in to copy music/videos.

Does charging hurt the battery? Because, if you charge it every time you plug it in can that be good?
I don't want to loose this nice battery life...
