Writing files to SD cards

Can anyone tell me if their file transfer to sd card takes a long time, like a couple of minutes per album, i have a transcend 4gb 150x card. I thought it would be very fast, and i have a fairly new P.C.

i have a normal speed 2gb Sandisk card and it's write time is about the same as the player itself.

Use a card reader to transfer, it's much faster than transferring while the card is in the player.

Thats what i have deen doing, used a card reader and have a sd socket on front of pc, same. same, thanks anyway
