Just got my D2 in the mail! Pics and first impressions.

This is my first standalone mp3/media player. I've always either used my phone or PSP for MP3s but I couldn't resist buying this. Also, the PSP is too large for my pockets and I don't really like to use my phone for music.

Haven't messed around with it too much yet but the sound quality is great. There is a good amount of sound options [thumbsup]

Videos look GREAT on it. The screen is a lot nicer than I expected. Some may say it's small, but it's the perfect size for me and it doesn't seem too small for videos. You can still read captioning just fine.

same here says tues delivery........argh cant wait. have 6 vidz ready to go. My X5 battery kind of stunk this wk down to nly about an hr of continuous playback..so i hopped on the D2 to hold me off till Q5 after which I WILL STOP on the whole portable rig.
Cowon support mentioned $55 to replace X5 battery so ill do that too.....fantastic pics!

Thanks guys. It's a Samson Rubicon R5A. I also have the complementing sub. They actually sound great for what they are.

That would make a nice compliment for my A2. Ay Idea when we'll be seeing these in the U.S.? I love that it allows for SD Expansion 4GB Cards are cheap now enough so you could grab a few for vids and music.

JUST GOT MINE!! looks fantastic..as everyone says smaller than i expected but screen seems like just the right size. Going to put it to work tomorrow, while i send my X5 out for battery replacement.
P.S. How do you change the wallpaper?? - I changed the settings from 'default' to 'user' still like in the x5 i cannot select it from there. still playing with it but any answers? thx

put some pictures in the picture folder, then click on one and select wallpaper.

I love the black wallpaper. I like white letters too, but I've changed the letters to light blue.

I have a blue--as in Windows "blue screen of death" blue--wallpaper. White letters look good on it, as well.

thxs figured it out while playing with it last night and decided to use a black background as well better outside with the sun. So far fantastic player with the video playback is phenomenal...cant wait for my Q5
