I'm confused about Screen Patronus; do they custom make the label to fit the D2? Seems weird to input what I want just by text.

They have a database of sizes per product. I've purchased many screen protectors from them. I gave them the exact dimensions of the screen and they will cut these to spec. Since there are 1000s of MP3 players and they make protectors from all the categories you can see on their home page...it would be an incredible list customers would search from. At any rate, my contact there told me the D2 was added to their database and all we need to do is enter the Cowon D2 in the text field. Everytime I have ordered from them I always have to tell them model and model number.

I'll be ordering mine tonight. if you want I will take a picture and post here once I have it on.

When ordering the screen protector from ScreenPatronus,
should I order mp3 or touch screen protector?

D2 is technically an mp3 player, but it also has touch screen function
I ask this because the screen protector for touch screen is 3 times
more expensive than the one for mp3

Can you order accessorries on this page separately from the player? I already have the D2 but can't find the line-in converter or video out cable anywhere besides at your link.

I have both the plastic case and the noreve. The plastic case offers more protection and accessibility to the touchscreen but there is no belt clip like the Noreve. The service at Noreve was slow and the product is over priced but the case is leather and well built.

wouldn`t any generic screen protector work?
I mean like those that are sold for palms if I cut it to the size of D2`s screen.
or would it have any problems because of the touch sensitive thing?

... and that brought up another doubt..
(I never used anything with a touchscreen extensively before, just ocasional contact with some Palms or the ATM.. so sorry if it`s a stupid question! =P )

does the screen respond to any thing that touches it or just fingers or stylus?

I want to know this, suppose I`m already very familiar with it`s interface and can use it without looking at the screen.
Could I have the player in my pocket and press it from the outside? I mean... if I press the screen with the fabric of my pants, would it respond??

i think for the time being i'll order the sreen protector and handle with care ;)
