no bass in line out/ headphone out works fine

Just got a brandnew x5, but when I try to connect to the Amp. with the "line out" it cuts off all the lower frequencies / bass. This happens with the subpack aswell as with the docking station. The headphone out on the x5 and remote control work perfectly fine with great sound though. All equilizer and stuff are disabled.
A case for warranty or just normal ? What to do ?
