Hello,
Name is Joseph. I'm 19 and currently in High School "12TH Grade" and earning money to go to a Tech. School. I recently bought the Cowon F2. I'm new to this founder Company and I surely hope to aspect good things out of their products. The F2 is my 2nd DAP. My first was the Philips 2GB* Micro JukeBox (http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=HDD082/17&scy=&slg=ENG&grp=PORTABLE_ENTERTAINMENT_GR&cat=MP3_PLAYERS_CA&sct=HDD_AUDIO_JUKEBOX_SU). The HDD failed in July of 2006 and I bought it on X-Mas of 2005. Never AGAIN will I ever buy anything beside Entertainment Systems and CD-MP3 players from them.
So.. yeah so far I haven't heard any of that happening to ANY of Cowons products. I still hear the problems I had with Philips new players. I saw their new player at Wal-Mart and it's flash-based. I looked at it and kicked the damn box without getting caught "lol".
