I don't think there's a flash player out that beats this! WOW! Screen size is really appealing and so is that battery life :D
I must sell my U3 first though...

Thisis awesome. My coworker has a sister in Korea and she has agreed to buy this for me and ship it. I am sending her the money tomorrow....I am so excited. This will be a replacment for my dieing (dead) x5. Not sure what I should do with it now. Do I need 30gb of storage when I only hve 15gb of music and 5 gb og photos? which I never carry arround with me? 4gb of music and movies is sweet 8gb would be better but....hey...it goes ont he wish list.

be sure to post your impressions here i am sure a lot of people will find it useful. Especially me[biggrin]
I like the fact that it supports album art and TV- out. It must be the smallest player to support TV-Out. Looks like this thing is no real PMP though. No Divx or Xvid support tells us that Cowon is going head to head with its rivals - irver and the u1o/clix and Digital Cube - istation mini.
this thing is amazing. it beats everything else on the market in so many ways!! yes, price will be a little higher than other 2gb players, but looking at the features it's SO easy to justify! >50 hour battery life! What else can do that?! also great that Cowon ditched the DMB function for overseas sales - one thing I wish I could disable on my A2. Looking forward to having these in January!!

Hello
I am not a video codec specialist, but one question here:
is it going to support divx and xvid off the net? or does it need bloody file conversion? if it does need conversion, this is a no for me, I'll stick to my A2 + Mobiblu Cube package
What about .srt subtitle files?
Thanks
Stephane

Am I missing something?
Bar the battery life which is good all I see is yet another low storage MP3 Player, with some odd pen to use it. Granted given a decent storage (8GB +) it would be nice.
Oh and if it supported DVB-T that would be ultra sweet. Pity a digital tuner isn't being released for non-Korean models (DMB isn't much use in Europe).

Looks like they are going to have .ape support in a future firmware release.

Yes it will need conversion as it does not support divx and xvid.

What makes this player so special is the battery life, the great audio codec support (flac, ogg) and what appears to be a really good screen. And of course the great sound quality and huge feauture list (line in, fm, tv out etc)that comes with iaudio players
