yep they're pretty on to it! i'd say a case would be essential for the D2, too... wouldn't want that pretty touch screen getting scratched!

Okay now I have seen some pictures of var. cases in var. colors........but on the site it says this: "Note: The color photos are digitalized. " what does that mean?
Does it mean that the color aint that bright as the ones on the pictures or what? anyone got a picture of their case (color version of course so not black)

My Noreve black D2 case arrived today. I must say, it's definitely high quality and worth the money I spent. Now all I need is the D2 to fill it :p

They only have black and white (yew!) in stock but all the other colors on the site take 2 weeks to make, i went with black.

I was never a fan of leather cases that cover the whole gadget and add bulk to devices that are made to be slim so that they can comfortably fit in one's pocket. I also think that there is an inherent beauty that gadgets like the D2 have that call for unobtrusive cases. I would be very happy with some sort of rubberized case (black rubber) that protects the edges of the player without a flap cover. These leather flap covers are a pain when the player is in use. This is a touch screen player where "most" of the controls require that one look at the screen... I'd like to protect the screen from scratching, but I'm hopping that there are screen protectors that do not drastically change the response of the touch screen. When I travel long distances or when I commute in the subway I will either put the D2 in my bag or in one my pockets. A screen protector is all I use on my smartphone and it's fine. I just try not to keep it in the same pocket where I keep my keys or change. Leather and sweat don't get alone too well either and I will only be using this rubberized case in my D2 when I'm running or when I go to the gym. So... a little removable clip in the back of the case would be a plus. As I mentioned in a recent post in the "Accessories?" thread... a Case and Accessories Kit like the one sold for the iRiver Clix would be perfect for me.

really, it doesnt look like it's going to add much bulk, if any at all, to the d2. i slipped the case in my pocket and it's just as comfortable as my iA6.

Does the Noreve D2 case require you to remove the player to get access to the USB and A/C ports?

Thanks.

while its nice to fit in a pocket, the noreve case, by the looks of it, has a well designed belt clip which would mean even more free pocket space, plus easy access for changing songs and the like using the hard buttons (pause, next and prev are the only buttons I need on the move anyway). I am thinking of purchasing one as the belt clip broke on my previous case.
