WTF is wrong with Cowon??

why wont they release a flash player with AA or AAA battery?

I was planning on getting the IAudio 6 but even this like the (U3, F2, T2) has internal battery.

It just makes no sense!

I would never buy a player with a disposable battery. The costs would rack up so quick that the lower purchase price would be a joke.

Another example of the clueless consumer hoard which helps perpetuate the false notion that a proprietary battery is somehow better than a standardized one. How sad. If anything, devices with proprietary batteries are where the word "disposable" should be applied.

A standardized rechargeable. What a concept!

Another example of the clueless hoard who thinks everyone wants exactly what they want.

Of course I know about rechargeable batteries. If that's what you want, that's just great for you, isn't it? If you haven't noticed, devices with built-in batteries are far more popular and widely available - a good sign that it's what most consumers want. They would seem to think it's more convenient, and I would tend to agree.

Thanks for keeping a civil tone. [rolleyes]

This thread's coming perilously close to personal attacks folks. Let's keep the debate limited to the issues themselves, not the people espousing those issues.
