Hi guys, i'm a proud new owner of the magnificent a2 [biggrin]
I like everything about it so far, powerful sound, nice screen and decent av-out. I only have one small problem and i wondered if anyone could help me out. I have firmware version 1.67 right now and i d:l and copied the 1.81 version to the system file. When i hit the on switch the "upgrade firmware" screen flashes by for like 2 seconds and then it goes to the main menu screen. When i look for information in setup it says "firmware version 1.67" and "application version 1.81". Now this can't be right can it?. Big th to anyone who can help me out.

Dont get me wrong but, omg u noob there is a million threads like this and one is stickied. You dont put it in the system file, you put it in the root folder.

Here is the stickied thread: http://www.iaudiophile.net/forums/showthread.php?t=9167

Yeah...i don't have a root folder. There's only a system folder, where all of the dpl, dump and fwim files go.

By root folder, he means the main folder (what appears after you click on your A2 in My Computer).
