What operating system are you using? Does your computer have USB 2.0 ports?

Patrick
Have you got Service Pack 2 installed, have you changed anything with your configuration, have you got the latest firmware for your A2?

Zeus,
Thanks for the directions here. I have the same problem as the OP, but your solution isn't fully working for me. Perhaps you have more insight?
I followed your instructions and the drive still wasn't showing up in Explorer. I used that application to "explore" the drive after I assigned it a drive letter. It opened in Explorer, but immediately went back to "My Computer". I used the back button to return to it and opened a folder. It was very slow. I then tried to add a folder and it took 25 seconds to do so and even then it would only allow me to use a short folder name. I tried to add a file to this folder and it told me it doesn't support long names and suggested a shorter file name. I slected "ok" and it said it was going to take 125 minutes to transfer the 600mb file, so I cancelled for now.
Do you know why I have limited functionality and what can I do? I should tell you that I recently had Windows XP reinstalled (SP2) on my PC after I got a bad sector on the system part of my hard drive.

Never mind, found the answer myself. I had to uncheck an option to turn off the USB ports to save power.
