i brought my A2 in america, and a few weeks ago (back in the uk) i droped it on to the carpet, while there was no major damage, some dust did go under the screen, i was just wondering if there was any one from cowon i could call in the uk, to try and get my screen replace professionally (even if i had to pay a bit towards it) because, as i'm not very good with electronics, i would not feel confident in opening up a £200-£300 peice of equipment

thanks

I'm not sure if Cowon will clean the screen for you but I suggest you invest in an invisible sheild
http://www.shieldzone.com/item_description/CWNA2F.html
It covers you A2 and will prevent any dust from getting under there again. Its also highly scratch resistant.

Unfortunately, InvisibleShield doesn't cover the case when the application of their product permanently ruins your A2. The application fluid got under my screen (yes, I just used a small amount) and my new A2 now has a permanent "dried soap" mark that I get to see every time I use it. Sure, they returned my money for the InvisibleShield, but they didn't seem to care that it ruined my device.

Yeh, I'd recommend you use windex or a window cleaning fluid for the application. It's designed to dry up without leaving any marks, so it's probably the best thing to use.

Uhm... I do hope that you mean "spray a SMALL amount of windex on a lint-free cloth and CAREFULLY and GENTLY clean your screen with the MOISTENED towel"

Because if people start spraying windex full power directly at their A2, I can foresee RMAs in the near future... my 2c.

A lightly wet lint free cloth usually helps me keep my A2 clean. You could mix a little of alcohol too.
