how to record TV show subtitles

I'm not sure you can, though I'd think if you have them displaying on the screen that you should be able to capture them...but if that's a function of the tv rather than the feed, then I may be wrong about that.

I see the subtitles on TV, but not in A2

If you have a VCR let the VCR do the tuning and decoding of subtitles and record from the VCR direct.
