My songs are skipping

I was listening to my music last night without any problems but this morning the songs have started to skip every 10, 15 seconds, even less. The songs don't actually skip, it's more like a 1-2 second gap while playing the song, it's really anoying. The original firmware works fine.

The thing is that I really didn't change the settings since last night. I'm using boeselhack's latest build (http://www.iaudiophile.net/forums/showpost.php?p=92716&postcount=14), I have 'Load tag cache to RAM'>No (I thought this might be the problem but it's not).

Has anybody experienced this problem or know what could be causing it?

Sounds like the problem that rockbox had in the beginning on the x5.
What's the anti-skip value you have and try an other.

Mine's doing this too with ogg q-8 sometimes. Can't find why.

Actually my songs are also vorbis.

Vorbis needs more cpu.
But by now this shouldn't cause clipping anymore.
I don't have it anymore, not even with q10.

Are you just listening to the song or also using a plugin at that time?
Equalizer is on or of?

Actually I tried a couple of mp3s and they show the same problem. I do have the equalizer enabled but that wasn't a problem before :(

Please use a vanilla build from rockbox.org and see if the problem persists. Patched builds can be extremely unstable and aren't supported by the Rockbox project.

maybe playing music + resizing art is + scrolling + eq + .... is just too much?
