Ok, I love the e2c's... but I hate how they fit. I don't mean having them in my ear, I mean all the "fit kit" pieces are too big... other than the foam ones that are just a pain to put in. Also, the foam ones MUST be replace, where are the plastic ones can just be cleaned...

Now on to the question, why are the silicone sleaves only for the e3c's and e5c's? What is so different that they don't dell them for the e2c's? Does anyone have both pairs? could you compare the little tube that the sleaves go over for me? if it is smaller, great, largerl damn... If someone does have both, would you mind testing to see if the silicone sleaves work on the e2c's before I decide to spend any money?

ummm, dude! calm down.

yeah, shure just released (or is going to release) some soft tips for the e2c.
not sure if theu're the same ones that come with the e3s but why don't you call them up and ask for some samples?
seeing as the sound signatures of the e2 and e3 differ to no small degree, it might be safer(cheaper) than buying e3cs; that is, if the new tips suit you.

I must agree with you there. The only way i can get a reasonable fit with the silicon pieces is if i moisten the tips of them and then i still have to apply a lot of pressure to get them to stay in...which really isnt comfortable.
Not to mention extremely impracticle to moisten the tips every time i want to fit them in. Especialy after a day of work when you have dirty hands :|

And theres no way im licking the actual buds ;p

to enouen: When your talking about the sleeves? do you mean the tri-flange ssilicon bits?

no, the owners manual calls all of the tips sleeves... even the foam ones.

Gon't Man: Thanks for the tip, I'll try contacting them - and yes, it would be way cheaper than buying the e3c's... but I'm not too afraid to do that...

Thanks again.

no prob :D

some head-fiers are organizing a group buy for these things。
the thread is at:

group buys are kinda alien to me, but it would be a good place to get information or make a purchase - if you decide to.

The tubes of the E2 are a bit larger than those of the E3/e5 that's why the E2 has "wax guards" and (until recently) no silicon sleeves.
You can fit a pair of sony EX51/71 sleeves on your E2 but I don't know how those will fit (I have had a pair of E2's for a week before I replaced them with a pair of E3's because the E2's hurt my ears)
