Not by that much, the I4 is only 40$ more, you get a screen, voice recording, equalizer+ effects, radio ect. Before the price difference was alot more, but now, it's alot more affordable and there's little reason not to go with it.

Oh, what's the difference with the I5 besides a wide screen, and control layout?

Wait, if there's a big price drop for this release there must be one for the M5 line too. I guess that might be an arguement for waiting then.

Well, I think we have to partly thank the ipod shuffle for driving the prices down. It was good business strategy by Apple to introduce a horrible player for cheap and make flash-maker companies to drop their prices and pass it on to the consumers.

Only if iPods wasn't such a "starbucks of mp3 players" I would really admire them.

Aww man!! I want to get the 512 meg player (it's only 20 more than the 256 meg version) but the Ruby Red color on the 256 meg versionlooks so great!! The Aqua Blue on the 512 meg is so "ho-hum." Any thoughts on this?! The decision is driving me crazy!!!

Buy both, switch the face plates, get a refund for the 256 MB one as the 512 MB and get 20$ and a red 512 MB I5. Actually, don't that would be really dishonest.

Oh I just remembered something, since this is the Jetaudio store places like newegg should be selling it for even less.

Same price structure as the IAudio Flash family.
Now I wonder who did it first. !?!?!?
I saw the 1 Gig G3 at www.ecost.com selling for $170.
So that means that the G3 2 Gig could be around for $250.
Gosh I saw this coming I'm glad I returned my G3 early enough.
Can't wait to buy my G3 2Gig. AAhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
