View Full Version : Problems applying the official protector
I recently bought the official screen protector and had some issues with
bubbles and dust. Not easy to apply. If anyone has any tips then i would
be most grateful.

Got it sorted! thank god...no bubbles or dust [laugh]
Can recommend using one of those carbon fibre Record/LP cleaners
to carefully remove any dust. Did a great job
Jobs a beaut! [thumbsup]

I think maybe that some bubbles are due to fingerprints/greasy marks,
preventing protector from laying flat. If you rush and apply it quick it
doesn't help.
If you only have bubbles and no dust then have you tried removing it,
gently wiping with a soft cloth and re-applying?
The link on the previous posting claims it's reusable. Worth a try?

Easy...Drop a semi-medium sized water droplet on the center of the screen, then apply the screen protector, keep a hankercheif/napkin to absorb extra water coming out......this is the method I used (someone recommended it) and I have the same screen protector with no bubbles/airpockets/dust for approx 6~Months [yes] [smile] [thumbsup]
i used a glsses fiber cleaner for the screen,
and wide scotch tape to take dust off the plstic protector,
the afer 20-30 times i tried....[confused] it worked![thumbsup]
i still have some bubbles, but not on the screen so i don't care...[toungue]
Hi,
After a month with my A2 i've tried to put the fixfilm shield.
I understood few things afterwards:
1. I don't know how to read Korean...
2. I'm quite bad with handy work.
3. The salesman in Israel is one hell of a crook.
after i've tried to put it by the picture ('cause i didn't understand the instructions) - I had lots of bubbles.
Then I removed the shield off - and found it has alot of dust on the sticky side - so i tried to wash it and wipe it.
As you might expect - it only gotten worst...
What should I do? the shop won't replace it and i paid tones of money to this plastic junk...
PLEASE HELP :)
