USB-OTG with Casio EX-Z55

i have a problem... [confused]

the USB-OTG list says, that the Casio Exilim EX-Z55 works with the iaudio X5.

But when i connect my cam with the X5 and press the USB button on the dockingstation of the cam, on the upper right corner on the display on my X5 appears "DEV", but when i press the REC button longer nothing happens...

could it be possible, that the camera only works with some types of SD-cards? I´m using a Kingston SD-card.
Maybe a Sandisk could work??? [help]

as far as I can tell now, lots of x5s have problems with USBOTG... I got a new X5 as they couldn't fix my USBOTG problem (more or less same as your problem I think)... and the new doesn't work either... I don't have the time to send it in for repairs again... but will try to get a new one when I am back from vacation...

Have a look at www.vosonic.com to get a dedicated device that will do the trick...

if you have a memory reader USB plug thingy you should try the SD card in that too.

yep... try different devices and cards to see if it is the x5 or the device / card u use... I tried with the sandisk 12in 1 card reader and couple different cards... nothing changed for me... hope you'll be more lucky than me...
