i own a 1gb speed tx-6 that i use when i want to wear my mp3 arround my neck just for jogging and bringing to school.

i wanted to know if anybody else heard of this player i found it on ebay for 130 bucks !!

edit: he has recently stop selling this model he has a new model on sale

1 GB for $130 is a good deal.. Seems like a good mp3 player for ur intended use...

It's not very loud.

1GB with USB 1.1 will take quite a while to fill

It doesn't look thaaat bad otherwise. Not fot the price anyway. And at leasr it isn't a freakin' iPod Shuffle!

hmmm IMO the volume isnt that bad it (gets to 31 volume levels, and i keep it at 20-25) but the sq isnt that great.
When the bass is turned on, it does distort, but its a small amount. the voice recorder only records in .wav .act .vor its ok quality.

also the ipod shuffle was the single worst idea possible, this tx-6 is just as big if not smaller and it has a suffle mode plus fm tuner and all those extra things.
